IT WON'T LET ME ENTER THE DATES I WANT
You can't enter the dates you want for the lake house. First World Problems. If this is the worst thing that's happened to you today be thankful.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Standard is 4pm check in and 10am check out. You may receive a text/email/call letting you know cleaning is finished and you can arrive early.
WHAT TYPE OF GRILL IS ON THE PROPERTY - GAS OR CHARCOAL OR ELECTRIC?
Propane grill with tank of propane. Full spare propane tank. Propane is an outside thing. The Grill is an outside thing so please leave outside.
IS THERE WOOD AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRE PIT OR DO WE BRING OUR OWN?
There is wood available for sale less than a mile from the cottage. From the cottage head south. About 1 mile there is firewood on the right. It's marked "Firewood for sale". Firewood is an outside thing. Please leave firewood outside.
DO THE SLIDING DOORS FACING THE WATER HAVE SCREENS IN THEM?
All the sliding doors on the lower level have screens. Upper level center door and entry door have screens.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
It's just Jim. Not a giant corporation. If something major happens that's understandable, however, just booking to cancel doesn't make sense.
WHY IS THE QUOTE DIFFERENT THAN THE WEEKLY RATE?

IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO PUT THE GRILL, OUTSIDE CHAIRS, OUTSIDE TABLE, KAYAKS, & FIREWOOD IN THE COTTAGE? (IT'S HERE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED)
No. Don't do that.
I WOULD LIKE TO REARRANGE ALL THE FURNITURE IN THE HOUSE AND CHANGE THE ENTIRE LAYOUT. IS THAT OKAY?
What you do is what you do. Just put everything back the way you found it before you leave.
I WANT TO PUT UP A CANOPY OVER THE FIRE PIT AND START A BIG FIRE. IS THAT OKAY?
No. The canopy will catch fire and then the house. Only put things over a fire that you intend to cook.
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE JUST SMALL THINGS FROM YOUR COTTAGE. LIKE BOTTLE OPENERS AND ICE TRAYS.
Please don't. If everyone takes something small it adds up. That's why there is a bottle opener permanently attached to the wall.
HOW MUCH PARKING IS THERE?
52 feet of end to end parking is available across the street from Keuka Villa. 3 cars or 2 cars and a big truck or 2 SUVs or a car and truck with a boat trailer will work. 52 feet is 52 feet.
HOW CLOSE ARE THE TRAIN TRACKS?
Far away. We've never heard a train. Bath, NY has train tracks and that's over 25 miles away. If you can hear a train from Keuka Villa you have super sonic hearing and should be working for the US Government.
