Glad you asked.  Here are some ideas:

  • Pick up some made to order sandwiches at The Crooked Lake Mercantile in Branchport.  It's the only 2 story yellow building at the four corners stop.  Take the sandwiches out on the lake and having lunch with wine on the pontoon.  Pick some beer up.  Penn Yan, Hammondsport or Branchport areas of the lake will be the quietest parts of the lake perfect for eating.  As you get closer to the middle of the Y the rougher the lake is.

  • Stuben Brewing is a couple miles away and it's dog friendly.  Just walking on in with your pet like you own the place.  They have live music and a different food truck every week.

  • Sunday is the BIG DAY on the Keuka Lake.  Every bar and every restaurant will have live music starting at 4pm.  Get there early because places will be packed.  Clamming and Jamming is at the Waterfront Restaurant about 2 miles away.  Only time we recommended taking a car is Sunday to The Waterfront because all of all the boat traffic.

  • The Garrett Chapel is NOT 20 mins away but a nice ride on a lazy day (about 24 mins).  Use and trust your GPS on this one.  Stop at the Skyline Trading Post for a beer or for Breakfast on your way there or on your way back.  No bathrooms at the Garrett Chapel so go before you go!

  • What about a local dive bar with great food and great service.  The Valley Restaurant in Branchport.  Try the linguine with red clam sauce.

  • Bar.  No food.  Maloney's  Bar in Hammondsport.  It's on the corner driving north out of Hammondsport on the right.  It's just fun.

  • Wine Bar in Hammondsport.  Recommended by Uncle Mike.  Right across the street from Maloney's.  Great service.  Great Wine.  Great Atmosphere.

  • Walk on over to the Lakeside Restaurant (Dog friendly).  Yes walk on over.  It's 0.1 miles away from Keuka Villa.  That's less than 5 mins walking.  Rich is the owner and he's a great guy.  It's a bit pricey but the service is good, the food is good and the view is fantastic.  Take your phone or take the flashlight on top of the fridge if you're walking after dark.

  • Check out Abandon Brewery on Saturday afternoon or anytime.

What's close and fun?
